In 2020, Julie Rock discovered a lump shortly after attending the visitation of a friend who had passed away from breast cancer.

Within weeks, she found herself navigating surgeries, chemotherapy, and the unimaginable task of explaining a cancer diagnosis to her children—all while the world shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just as life began to stabilize, Julie later faced another devastating diagnosis: cancer had spread to her brain.

Through multiple treatments, hospitalizations, and unexpected setbacks, Julie discovered something powerful—resilience isn’t something we suddenly develop during crisis.
